Subjects: Healthy primiparous women will be recruited at 18-23 gestational weeks in the hospital. Design: For this longitudinal, prospective, randomized controlled trial, we recruited 94 healthy pregnant women at 16 weeks' gestation through convenience sampling from a prenatal clinic in Taipei. Importantly, this pilot study was not a blinded randomized controlled trial, which would provide stronger, more rigorous evidence, Battle said. A total of 400 participants will be randomly assigned to one of four groups in this trial, with 100 participants in each group-group with yoga exercise, with nutritional guidance, with both yoga and nutritional guidance, and with standard care alone, as the control group. 46) groups using Clinstat block randomization. Nutritional guidance is based on individual dietary intake assessed using a brief-type diet history questionnaire. Secondary outcomes include physiologic and psychologic status assessed via biomarkers and health-related scales, dietary nutrition intake, and birth outcomes. Alleviation of labor pain was assessed by using numerical pain intensity scale (NPIS), pain behavioral observational scale (PBOS), and maternal delivery comfort questionnaire. Despite several adverse effects, ritodrine hydrochloride is frequently prescribed to suppress preterm labor in Japan, and its usage may therefore indicate cases of preterm labor. This study aimed to clarify the association between prenatal yoga and ritodrine hydrochloride use during pregnancy. Conclusions: This study shows the effects of a yoga exercise and nutritional intervention. Conclusions: Prenatal yoga was associated with a lower risk of ritodrine hydrochloride use, particularly in women with more than 900 minutes of practice time over the course of their pregnancy. Conclusions: Pregnant women with stress and depressive symptoms may be drawn to prenatal yoga for the psychological and physical benefits. It may be performed at home or else at a fitness center that offer special classes for pregnant women. Prenatal yoga may be a beneficial option for pregnant women in the selection of alternative therapies. Objective: This study examines women's experiences participating - https://wideinfo.org/?s=experiences%20participating in community-based prenatal yoga. The study involved 59 pregnant women who recorded their emotional states via self-reports at the beginning of the study period.
"This is really about trying to develop a wider range of options that suit women who are experiencing these kind of symptoms during pregnancy," said Battle, associate professor of psychiatry and human behavior in the Alpert Medical School of Brown and a psychologist at Butler and Women & Infants. Developed and researched in collaboration with California Pacific Medical Center’s Research Institute, The Mindful Motherhood Training was shown in a small randomized controlled trial to reduce anxiety and negative moods in pregnant women, and the training has been translated into a book for pregnant women and new moms entitled Mindful Motherhood: Practical Tools for Staying Sane During Pregnancy and Your Child’s First Year. Ritodrine hydrochloride use was identified from medical records. Lead author Cynthia Battle said she learned in prior research that depressed pregnant women are often reluctant to use medications and some also have difficulty engaging in individual psychotherapy. A few small studies have also suggested that yoga and mindfulness-based approaches could help prevent or treat depression during pregnancy. In a small pilot study, researchers at Brown University, Butler Hospital, and Women & Infants’ Hospital have found evidence suggesting that yoga could help pregnant women with significant depression reduce the severity of the mood disorder.
Introduction: While the beneficial effects of prenatal yoga have been reported in recent years, little is known about its effectiveness in pregnant Japanese women. Objectives: This report provides an experimental protocol for a study designed to verify the effects of yoga exercise and a nutritional guidance program during pregnancy on several key pregnancy and birth outcomes among Japanese women. Design: This is a study protocol of a randomized controlled trial. Funding for the study was provided by Philips Group Innovation but they were not involved in the design, analysis, and reporting of the study. They are seeking funding for a larger research study with investigators from Brown, Butler, Women & Infants, Yoga for pregnant women - https://9seed.click/yoga/yoga-cho-ba-bau-3-thang-cuoi-n319.html and Memorial Hospital in Pawtucket in order to gather more definitive evidence. Methods: An observational study was conducted as an adjunct study by the Hokkaido unit of the Japan Environment and Children's Study. However, social media requires study to elucidate its applications under women health-related conditions. Social media, a communication tool, is increasingly used to facilitate the engagement of experts (such as a health provider) and other participants in a wide range of programs. This work develops a social media-based mindful yoga program for pregnant women, and delivers media content by ways of Facebook platform and DVD.
